Last Day
I waited patiently for God to bring
The man of my dreams to me
And He gave me someone
Better than I could have hoped for
One this last day of singleness
After 32 years and 3 months
I smile and step forward in faith
Believing that I’ve made the best choice
Josué seems to know me
Inside and out
And he loves me
Unconditionally
He shows me God’s love
As my dad used to do
Whose absence, by the way,
Makes me sad
So tomorrow I say “I do”
With Papa Jorge giving me away
And marrying me to a man,
Strong, sensitive and funny
We are so different
But together we click
I’ve found, after all,
My perfect match!

Rachel and Josué,
I'm so happy for you and your marriage that took place today. I pray it was all you hoped it would be. May the Lord continue to bless you in your new life together and watch over you and protect you as you minister to the people of Peru and the area. Praise God for dedicated missionaries who sacrifice so much for His kingdom.
