According to Steven C. Hawthorne, the only heroes who operate alone are figures of fiction. The true stories of accomplishment and significance always unfold as stories of teamwork. In Christ, one's life is multiplied by others. The only way to exchange the illusions of fame and self-importance for God-granted greatness and blessing is by walking in partnership with others.

The core activities of sending are serving, giving, and praying.

Serving: Senders find relational ways to support frontline missionaries and those who are part of the mission infrastructure that enables frontline missionaries. (For example, visits, cards, packages)

Giving: Senders give financially and regularly with a sense of partnership toward accomplishing specific strategic goals.

Praying: Senders pray with missionaries instead of merely praying for them. In this way, they come to enjoy a sense of partnership in the task instead of responding passively as an occasional donor. (My hope is that my weekly prayer requests give you a guideline to help you know what to pray for and remember to pray for me and Josué and our team.)

Thank you for being part of my team, your partnership is vital to my mission work with the children of Iquitos , Perú.
